Merci Puppy Hood Neoprene Violet/Black

Built specifically for young dogs and small breeds, the Merci Puppy Hood uses layered neoprene to create a consistent, pressure-based calming cover that dampens auditory triggers while preserving peripheral sight and natural ear movement.

Violet and Black Neoprene Construction

The visible outer surface combines a matte violet panel with a contrasting black trim band and adjustment hardware. This color blocking allows quick visual verification that the hood stays properly positioned over the ears during car rides, grooming appointments, or storm shelter time. The neoprene matrix stretches uniformly across varying puppy skull shapes while retaining its structural integrity after repeated rinsing.

Primary Applications

• Hands-on care routines such as nail clipping, topical treatment application, and ear cleaning
• Acoustic sensitivity episodes caused by fireworks, heavy traffic, or loud domestic appliances
• Anxiety reduction during carrier transport and clinic examinations

Sizing and Wear Guidelines

Measure the widest part of your puppy’s head and match the measurement to the manufacturer’s available sizes before purchasing. The neoprene should rest flat against the temples without sliding toward the eye line or compressing the jaw hinge. Always maintain direct supervision while the hood is worn. Discontinue use immediately if your dog shows excessive pacing, prolonged pawing at the fabric, or accelerated respiration, and transition to a structured desensitization program with a licensed professional.
